Sandra Ono (lives and works in Berkeley, CA) received her MFA from Mills College, following undergraduate studies at University of California, Davis and Imperial College, London. Ono's work has been exhibited at Bibeau Krueger, New York, NY; Institute of Contemporary Art San Jose, San Jose, CA; Mills College Art Museum, Oakland, CA; Et al, San Francisco, CA; Southern Exposure, San Francisco, CA; Berkeley Art Center, Berkeley, CA;  St. Joseph’s Arts Foundation, San Francisco, CA; Sonoma Valley Museum of Art, Sonoma, CA and Headlands Center for the Arts, Sausalito, CA, among others. She has completed residencies at University of Texas at Dallas, Dallas, TX; Southern Exposure, San Francisco, CA; Headlands Center for the Arts, Sausalito, CA; Vermont Studio Center, Burlington, VT; Winslow House, Vallejo, CA; Mascot Studio, Berkeley/Los Angeles, CA; Minnesota Street Project as a recipient of the TOSA Studio Award, and Kala Art Institute as a recipient of the Kala Fellowship Award.
